Sholom Ellenberg

Sholom Ellenberg serves as the Senior Vice President, Technical services for Control Group and has 15+ years of experience in IT management and consulting.

Mr. Ellenberg came to Control Group after working for MortgageIT, a top ten mortgage originator. Mr. Ellenberg served as the C.T.O. for MortgageIT seeing the company through an IT turnaround, a doubling of overall business volume, and an acquisition by a top investment bank.

Prior to MortgageIT Ellenberg was the president and founder of a network security company and worked as a consultant for local government leading a project to create an emergency response voice and data communications network. The network was designed to tie together local authorities and medical personnel (police, fire, hospitals, and the Emergency Operations Center) in order to allow for a secure coordinated response to any critical situation.

Mr. Ellenberg has taught college level courses in data-communications, networking, and the windows operating system. He has also been a guest lecturer at the Henry B. Tippie college of Business at the University of Iowa.

Mr. Ellenberg holds a CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert) certification as well as a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification.
